| Man, I can’t believe yet another year has gone by! Is it me, or do the years seem to pass faster the older we get? Anyhow, let’s take a look at some of the highlights of 2008: -Lots of traveling (San Francisco, Jacksonville, Chicago, Portland, Spokane)—I can only hope that I will be able to continue these travels… -Khiet got married J -Moved to Seattle and started work—like a grown up L -I finished my MBA—still have no clue what I’m gonna do with it though… -The US elected its first black president—hopefully he’ll be able to turn things around soon…cuz they are not lookin’ so pretty right now… I wonder what 2009 has in store for us? According to my horoscope, it’s gonna be a lonely year for me, so doesn’t look like my commitment issues will be resolved this year. Hahaha. Anyhow, may the new year bring nothing but joy and happiness to us all! | | |
| I do hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with lots of joy, happiness, and of course FOOD. Cuz I know I sure did. I was lucky enough to be adopted by some family friends for Thanksgiving, and boy, did they go all out. 3 turkeys (none of which were under 20lbs), a glazed ham (at least 15 lbs), and an endless variety side dishes and desserts. You would think that with the amount I ate yesterday, I would be set for the rest of the year. Hahaha. But hey, it's getting colder outside, so I need the extra fat to keep warm. Man o man, I just love the holiday season! I've been rockin' out to my Christmas music for the past week and will continue to do so until after Christmas. Haha. Speaking of Christmas, I finally bought my plane ticket. I will be in Denver from the 24th through the 3rd, so whoever's gonna be in town, we gotta get pho and boba! Oh yea, and also, please send your Christmas lists. You won't see mine until I see yours! And to end this blog, here is a picture of the family that was gracious enough to adopt me for Thanksgiving:

| Dang. It has been a long while since I've updated, huh? But then again, there hasn't been much happening with me. My life still consists of working, eating, and sleeping. I've tried going out during the week, but I just end up really tired the next few days. I've notice that the older I get, the longer it takes me to recover. Oh well. Speaking of recovering, I'm still recovering from this weekend. Actually, just Friday night. Haha. I ended up at a Halloween party where I drank wayyyyy too much, but apparently I wasn't the only one partying like a rockstar, cuz the next morning, I find myself surrounded my other extremely hung over people sprawled out everywhere. Haha. I guess I finally found a crowd I can relate to. As for guys, I'm still having the committment issues. I've been talking to this one guy. He's really nice, but I think that's the problem. He's too nice. He gives into everything. Thus, I get bored. I'm just a bad person. I can't do nice guys. It's true, nice guys finish last; at least with me. Haha. That's about it with me. What's been happening with you guys? How was Halloween? What are your plans for the upcoming holidays? I miss you guys so much! | | |
| So September was kinda hectic. During the week, I had my normal routine: work, eat, and sleep. I also had to attend various seminars and dinners with potential clients. All of these events included excessive alcohol. Good god. These people sure do like to drink. It was really hard to focus the days following these outtings. Haha. My weekends consisted of either travelling or having people come in from out of town. I went to Spokane the first week in September. My mom, aunt, and uncle came up the following weekend. Joe and Erick came up the next weekend. I was in Chicago last weekend. Finally, this past weekend, Dave, Mary, and Conor came up to Seattle. I've had so much fun this past few weeks, but the whole sleep deprivation thing is really starting to catch up. I am looking forward to some low-key weekends. Man o man, I am getting old. Haha. Anyhow, here are some pictures from the Chicago trip.

Missing you guys!!!!!!!
| Hey hey. Unfortunately, I haven't done anything exciting since that hike up to Mt. Si. I still haven't even seen Batman! Work's been pretty hectic with all the various project deadlines coming up. That, along with all the mid-terms and papers I have due doesn't leave me much time to do anything else.
I am, however, going down to Portland to visit some friends and attend a beer festival this week-end. I also have a trip to Spokane planned a few week-ends from now. It's sad that I have to travel so far to hang out with people, but I don't really know anyone in Seattle. I'm loving the fact that I'm back in the big city. There are so many things to do, but I just have no one do to it with. The only person I know here is Phil and he's going to go back to Spokane pretty soon for school. Then I'll really be alone. I totally feel ya, Khiet. It's so hard to meet people. *sigh* I miss you guys! Edit: Add a potential trip up to Chicago near the end up September to the list. ^.^
